After 20 years of honing his skills as a licensed historic restoration contractor, Arizona native Tim Elinski wanted to see about distilling all his talents and trades into one tiny micro shell. The idea of building a teardrop style travel trailer had been rolling around his head for some years, and with a deadline looming (he and his family were leaving on an extended road trip) it seemed a perfect opportunity to turn out a prototype. Locking himself away in the confines of his workshop, Tim emerged with a complete, functional, solar-powered camper trailer and a drive unlike any other. That summer Pin Drop Travel Trailers was born.
Pin Drop Travel Trailers was officially formed in 2018, and an historic commercial building was retrofitted to house our manufacturing facility soon after. Owners Ruth Ellen and Tim Elinski are both passionate about rural communities, and have chosen to make Miami, AZ the manufacturing and sales hub of the business. After nearly two years building, testing, and modifying the prototype, Ruth Ellen and Tim are pleased to offer a unique micro camper, which is nostalgic in appearance, but fully modern and convenient in function. With a super insulated cabin (R13 equivalent), LED undermount and overhead lighting, an efficient kitchen design, and the power of the sun backing all accessories, and crafted with the "small batch" philosophy, the Fina Roma emerges as one of the finest, most efficient teardrops on the market.
As an Arizona native, Tim grew up on the banks of the East Verde River just outside of Payson, Arizona. He is invested in building this tear drop camper brand, Pin Drop Travel Trailers, in his home state with a goal of #HappyCampersEverywhere. #OwnYourHoliday
