What brings you the greatest joy in being a business owner?
The greatest joy [of being a business owner] is the amount of time I am able to spend with my family that I would not have if I was not a business owner.
What has been your greatest challenge as an independent business?
The greatest challenge [I face} is continuing to be a good manager. The real work is to continue to learn the best ways to motivate and care for our employees.
What makes your product or service unique?
Being a factory allows us to make custom size mattresses and special RV mattresses. That helps make us unique.
What motivates or drives you and your team?
What has driven or motivated us over the years is seeing our business grow and also seeing the families of our employees grow and succeed.
What do you love about Arizona?
In Arizona I love the desert in the winter and the mountains in the summer.
What is your favorite Arizona business?
The favorite Arizona business is St. Mary's Food Bank. It was started when I was in high school in 1967 and over the years, though a non profit business, the growth and community involvement is unprecedented.
