Where Will Your Pin Drop?

Updated: Apr 11, 2021

As avid campers and having a true love for vintage trailer designs, we started Pin Drop Travel Trailers to build a unique trailer design that balances the old and the new, that combines rustic with access, and which has features that sustain ongoing using solar power.

In our own 1952 Happy Home Trailer, we have covered thousands of miles, on and off dirt, in and out of cities and towns, to the corn fields of the mid west, and even off the grid through the barren desert and southwestern mountains. The 52' Happy Home has finally retired, yet we wanted to continue our (often remote) camping tradition in a lighter weight, more convenient, better designed trailer.

Given Tim's 20-year history as a licensed general contractor and builder and our many years of experience tent and trailer camping across Arizona and the U.S., we decided to build and design the ideal camper trailer ourselves. The plan is simple and intentional. We will construct #FromRawMaterials a high quality, user friendly product with integrity that makes off road and remote camping easier and more comfortable. Pin Drop Travel Trailers provide immediate access to amenities that make #HappyCampersEverywhere.

It's been a long time coming. Pin Drop Travel Trailers is now official. The first design was completed in June of 2018 and made its maiden voyage from Arizona to Montana in July that same year. Now having road tested the very first Pin Drop prototype for nearly 18 months in a design called The Fina Roma, we are excited to have finalized this streamlined, innovative design. Since our road testing started, we have modified several features of this tear drop travel trailer to better suit those who prefer off road, remote travel and we have added features for those who may prefer not to camp at all. (we know you are out there)

The standard model can be upgraded. The Fina Roma has a list of add-ons and upgrades including a ARB Awning, Thule Kayak Rack, a bike rack, Dometic refrigerator, electric brakes, and a Road Solar Shower among other key features that improve your outdoor experience.

Whether you enjoy being in a completely remote destination for weeks at a time, with only the sound of the trees and the sight of the mountains, or whether you are a seeker of new sights and prefer ongoing exploration to different destinations on roads or through state and national parks, the Fina Roma is a superior option. So we ask, where will your Pin Drop? We work hard to bring you the key features you need for an exceptional outdoor camping experience. #WhereWillYourPinDrop #OwnYourHoliday
