A Taste of Az, Arizona's Premier Food and Beverage Event: From the Road to the Table
What does an Arizona-made travel trailer have in common with some of the state's best chefs, restaurants, and food producers?
More than you might think.
This coming October 31st, PinDrop® Travel Trailers will join A Taste of AZ at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale, a celebration of Arizona's food, beverages and other local makers. For PinDrop®, the invitation is a natural fit not only because they are an Arizona-grown company, but also because PinDrop® Travel Trailers are designed for people who believe that great food is possible even in the most remote destinations.

A Kitchen for Camp Chefs
There are campers who are perfectly happy with a hot dog over the fire....and then there are camp chefs.
They're the ones who plan meals before leaving home, pick up local ingredients along the way, and the ones that believe being miles from a restaurant is no reason to compromise on dinner.
The PinDrop® galley has been designed with the Camp Chef in mind.
Its compact kitchen includes a two-burner propane cooktop, 12-gallon fresh water tank, Canyon Cooler or chest refrigerator, storage and counter space, all arranged in an open-air galley designed to make cooking at camp practical and enjoyable.
PinDrop® recently put that kitchen to the test on the Camino del Diablo, one of Arizona's most remote historic routes.

Cooking Gourmet Meals on the Road
The four-day expedition included a surprisingly sophisticated menu prepared entirely in the PinDrop® galley. One evening featured slow-braised salmon with a paprika and oregano-infused sauce over wild rice, paired with an Arizona Bodega Pierce Sparkling Rosé. Another featured breaded shrimp and fish in fresh Doña Lupe corn tortillas with jalapeño slaw, paired with Château Tumbleweed Picpoul.
There were also Dutch-oven-baked buttermilk cornbread and slow-cooked pinto beans, as well as orzo with pine nuts, roasted red peppers, Kalamata olives and queso fresco.
The meals weren't designed simply to prove that they could be cooked while camping. They were designed to be enjoyed. That's the point of the PinDrop galley: camping doesn't have to mean compromising on the food you love.
Arizona-Made and Arizona-Inspired
That philosophy fits naturally with A Taste of AZ.
PinDrop® builds its travel trailers in the historic mining town of Miami, Arizona, where a small manufacturing team turns raw materials into fully equipped, luxury camping trailers. Like the chefs, winemakers and other makers celebrated at A Taste of AZ, PinDrop® is part of Arizona's growing community of people who take pride in making things here.
And for PinDrop owners, food is an important part of discovering the state. A farmers market, local winery or roadside food producer can become part of the next adventure—and eventually part of dinner at camp.
Event Details - A Taste of Az
A Taste of AZ takes place Saturday, October 31, at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale. General admission is from 1:30–5 p.m., with VIP admission beginning at noon. Guests can sample food and beverages from Arizona restaurants and producers while exploring a marketplace of local makers.
PinDrop® will be there celebrating Arizona's food culture—and showing what happens when an Arizona-made travel trailer is paired with a kitchen designed for people who take camp cooking seriously.
Because sometimes the best meal isn't served at a five-star restaurant.
Sometimes it's served outside, somewhere down a dirt road, under an Arizona sky, and sometimes even in a PinDrop®.
