A Spotlight on Innovation - Arizona Chamber

The Hottest Thing Made in Arizona competition shines a light on companies that blend creativity, engineering excellence, and economic impact. In 2024, the finalists represented vastly different industries — but each shared the same spirit of ingenuity that Arizona is known for.

Last year’s top three finalists included:

Wireless SPC4 by Valley Forge & Bolt

A breakthrough in fastener technology, the Wireless SPC4 system allows for precise bolt load measurement in real-time — critical for industries like aerospace, construction, and renewable energy. It improves safety, efficiency, and maintenance while reducing downtime and costs.

Pin Drop Travel Trailers

Designed and built in rural Arizona, Pin Drop Travel Trailers combine craftsmanship, sustainability, and adventure in a compact, efficient microcamper. Every trailer is constructed by skilled tradesmen with locally sourced materials, lightweight yet rugged construction and an innovative design housed in a timeless teardrop design. PinDrop lets travelers explore the outdoors in comfort without sacrificing amenities. Pin Drop was selected as a finalist because it represents both innovation and community impact — creating skilled manufacturing jobs in rural Arizona while producing a product that is a standout amongst its class of microcampers, eco-conscious and fully self contained.

Dexcom G7 Continuous Glucose Monitoring System

Developed by Dexcom, the G7 is a next-generation wearable health device that provides continuous glucose readings for people managing diabetes. Its sleek design, quick warm-up time, and mobile integration empower users with real-time data for better health outcomes.
