At PinDrop® Travel Trailers, we build more than just micro campers—we prioritize partnerships and work to build connections with wild places. That’s why we’re proud to announce a formal partnership with TreadLightly!, a national nonprofit committed to protecting and enhancing access to public lands through education, stewardship, and responsible recreation.

As part of this exciting new relationship, PinDrop® recently sponsored a TreadLightly! team member to attend The Big Thing, an event hosted by Expedition Overland (XOverland) in Montana—an epic gathering of overlanding enthusiasts, gear experts, and content creators. With a fully equipped PinDrop®, we ensured safe and comfortable accommodations for TreadLightly! to share their important message with a national audience of outdoor adventurers.
Who Is TreadLightly!?
TreadLightly! is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to promote responsible outdoor recreation through stewardship projects, community engagement, and public education.

With initiatives that span off-roading, overlanding, fishing, hunting, and camping, TreadLightly! works to ensure the trails, roads, and backcountry places we all love stay open, safe, and beautiful for generations to come.
Whether it’s organizing cleanups, restoring trails, or educating the public about best practices, the TreadLightly! team is at the forefront of preserving access to America’s most iconic wild places.
Why It Matters to PinDrop®
At PinDrop®, our trailers are built for those who crave off-grid adventure, backroad beauty, and the quiet comfort of remote places. But we know access to those places isn’t guaranteed and there are some people that don't
recognize the true value of these important protected places. Public lands require care and attention, as well as advocates — like TreadLightly! and PinDrop® — for stewardship and responsible recreation. Supporting TreadLightly! aligns with our values of sustainability, conservation, and community.
About The Big Thing: XOverland’s Ultimate Gathering
The Big Thing is a flagship event by the creators of Expedition Overland (XOverland), one of the most influential names in the overlanding community. Held in the vast Montana backcountry, the event brings together top-tier overland rigs, brands, creators, and adventure seekers for a weekend of storytelling, gear showcases, trail rides, and connection.
By supporting a TreadLightly! presence at The Big Thing, we helped ensure that the conversation around responsible recreation was part of the spotlight. This visibility is critical as more and more people discover the thrill of off-road travel and overland exploration and the use of our public lands continues to grow.
What’s Next

This is just the beginning. PinDrop® is looking forward to future stewardship projects in partnership with TreadLightly!, including trail restoration efforts, educational campaigns, and community events that support access and sustainability.
Stay tuned as we share more about this growing partnership and how you can get involved in helping keep the places we all love open, wild, beautiful, and protected.
Let’s Keep Exploring—Responsibly
We’re proud to put our name behind organizations doing real work for the outdoors. Because at the end of the day, a PinDrop® trailer isn’t just about where you go—it’s about how you go, and what you leave behind.
