The Trail is an 800-mile continuous pathway from Mexico to Utah that connects deserts, canyons, forests, mountains, communities and people. Each year, thousands of volunteers help maintain the trail through weekend opportunities, weeklong volunteer vacations, and other stewardship initiatives organized by the Arizona Trail Association (ATA), a local nonprofit organization.

“We are so excited to be able to partner with a local business that’s created the ultimate travel trailer for adventures in Arizona’s wild outdoor spaces,” said Matt Nelson, Executive Director of the ATA. “Our Pin Drop trailer will support staff, volunteers, conservation corps and others as we work together to maintain the 800-mile Arizona Trail. After an active summer monsoon season and an equally wet autumn, there is a lot of work to be done to clear the trail,” he said.

“We fully support the stewardship mission of the Arizona Trail Association,” said founder and fabricator Tim Elinski. “This partnership aligns perfectly with our own company core values. Not only do we build a sustainable product that is built to last generations, we strive to provide outdoor opportunities that have minimum impact on the environment. Pin Drop Travel Trailers are solar powered, self-contained and easy to pull, meaning our customers are able to get out a little further than the rest, have a great no-hassle camping experience, and sleep well in the great outdoors.”

Through this unique partnership, Pin Drop fabricated a product to meet all the ATA’s needs, added an attractive graphics package, and has donated the use of the travel trailer for one year. Look for it at trailheads and special events over the next year.

"We like to work with and support companies and nonprofits that embrace the Leave No Trace philosophy and ethics of public lands stewardship,” said Elinski. “As a native Arizonan raising my family here, it's important to me that our natural resources will be protected indefinitely. Supporting the work of the ATA is a great way to provide for a better future in Arizona,” he said.

Nelson said, “We have been dreaming of an ‘Arizona Trailer’ for years, and to have a local business like Pin Drop creating some of the finest travel trailers in our own backyard is incredible!”
