2025 In Review - PinDrop® Celebrates Another Year of Distinction and Looks Ahead to Expanding Manufacturing in the New Year

Updated: 3 days ago

2025 was a year defined by momentum—on the road, in the factory, with PinDrop clients, and across the communities we serve. As a small but mighty team building luxury micro campers in rural Miami, Arizona, every milestone feels personal. Every partnership, every innovation, every mile traveled adds to the story we’re creating with PinDrop®: a story of premium craftsmanship, sustainability, comfort, and accessible adventure..

This past year, we pushed boundaries. We welcomed state leaders into our historic factory, expanded collaborations across Arizona and beyond, rolled out new innovation, traveled thousands of miles to share PinDrop® with new audiences, product tested in new, remote territory, and deepened our commitment to sustainable outdoor recreation.

Most importantly, we continued refining what we believe is the most thoughtful, eco-friendly, solar-powered micro camper on the road today.

Here’s a look back at some of the standout moments that shaped 2025—and the energy carrying us into the year ahead.

PinDrop® 2025 Highlights

Kicking Off the Year in KOFA:

A remote desert campout and photo shoot in the King of Arizona (KOFA) National Wildlife Refuge set the tone for an adventurous 2025 and captured some of our most iconic images of the year. With all electrical systems powered solely from the sun using Sunflare XPLOR panels, the self contained PinDrop design allows explorers to be off grid indefinitely.

Strategic Planning at the Factory:

Founders carved out dedicated time to map the future of PinDrop®—refining goals, sharpening the long term vision, and recommitting to building the best micro campers in America.

A Visit from the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry:

PinDrop® welcomed the Chamber team to the Miami, Arizona factory for a behind-the-scenes tour and hands-on demo of the latest PinDrop innovations. The visit was in follow up to PinDrop being selected as a finalist for the 2024 "Hottest Thing Made in Arizona"" competition.

Highlighted in the Prestigious Arizona Highways Magazine:

A truly special milestone—PinDrop® was featured in the prestigious Arizona Highways Magazine, (June 2025 Issue) celebrating unique craftsmanship, intentional design, and Arizona roots. The feature included a highlight about Miami, Arizona, the historic factory building, and manufacturing in rural Arizona.

Established New Partnership with Arizona State Parks:

PinDrop® joined forces with Arizona State Parks once again to support their Family Campout Program. With the goal to help introduce more families to the joy of safe, accessible outdoor adventure, PinDrop will donate 10% of every microcamper rental to Arizona State Parks in support of the program.

Release of the New Swiveling Bike Rack:

The Pin Drop team designed and launched an exclusive swiveling bike rack—an inventive, camper-friendly solution designed exclusively for PinDrop Trailers and built for riders who refuse to leave their bikes behind. The swiveling feature allows you to open the tongue box to access tools, supplies, and gear without having to dismount your bikes.

A 24-Day Journey to Overland Expo PNW:

The Pin Drop Team had an unforgettable three-week trip through the Pacific

Northwest to Oregon for Overland Expo PNW, where thousands experienced PinDrop® firsthand and where they connected with other industry professionals. The trip took PinDrop founders and their family to 16 different campsites in State Parks, National Parks, National Forests, and BLM land.

Media & Content Road Trip Through Oregon and California:

The team explored the coast, the redwoods, and everything in between—capturing stunning footage and stories that highlight what it means to travel in a PinDrop®.

New Lending Partnership with OneAZ Credit Union:

Together with OneAZ Credit Union, they produced a special promotional video celebrating a lasting partnership and making financing a PinDrop® more accessible than ever.

Showcasing PinDrop® at the LA Auto Show:

PinDrop® made its appearance on the international stage at the L.A. Auto Show for the third year in a row, connecting with enthusiasts, industry leaders, and curious explorers from around the world.

Selected for the Arizona Sustainable Economic Development Learning Lab

Founders Tim and Ruth Ellen were chosen to participate in this inaugural, first-of-its-kind program—advancing their vision for sustainable manufacturing and workforce housing in rural Arizona. The pair was sponsored by Freeport McMoran.

An Outstanding Year for PinDrop® Manufacturing: A Solar Powered, Luxury Micro Camper

People gather near two camper trailers with "Pindrop" logos in a forested campsite by a lake. Tripods and equipment are scattered around.

Looking back, it’s clear that 2025 was more than a busy year—it was a breakthrough one. The adventures, partnerships, and long hours in the shop all pointed toward something bigger than any single moment: the continued evolution of PinDrop® as a brand rooted in quality, ingenuity, and outdoor freedom.

Sustainable travel shouldn’t require trade-offs. With solar power that enables true off-grid living, thoughtful design built for decades of use, and craftsmanship you can feel in every detail, a PinDrop® isn’t just a camper—it’s a doorway to adventure.

As we roll into 2026, the team is energized with new ideas on the workbench, expanded partnerships on the horizon, and a growing community of PinDrop® owners who inspire daily. If 2025 was about momentum, 2026 is about acceleration—and we can’t wait to share what comes next.

Here’s to another year of building, exploring, and chasing big dreams—one campsite, one partnership, and one beautifully crafted PinDrop® at a time.
