The Pin Drop Team is excited to release a new rugged, robust Pin Drop model to expand the Pin Drop Travel Trailers™ brand. Introducing el Diablo, the answer to all the wild adventure calls that echo from distant canyons and the perfect camper trailer to reach those highly desired remote and off grid camping destinations. El Diablo can be your companion on the road less traveled, while still including all the refined features and functions of the Pin Drop brand.
Rugged and ready, this el Diablo teardrop style trailer features impressive design elements that are made for remote exploration, while still providing finer details of comfort and thoughtful custom cabinetry and finish carpentry only found in a Pin Drop Travel Trailer.
FRAME AND SUSPENSION
Building off a stout steel frame, we are adding an axle-less suspension system coupled with 16” aluminum wheels and 32” AT tires, which yields an impressive 23” of ground clearance. Rock guards protect the leading edges on this rugged teardrop camper and oversized fenders have steps to assist with reaching gear stowed on our multi-function trestle-span roof racks.
TONGUE BOX
Find more storage room in the tongue box now boasting an additional 2 cubic feet for tools, equipment, gear, and supplies. It also has room for an on-board high output air compressor to help with re-inflation of your tow rig’s or trailer’s tires once you get back to pavement. The on demand compressor is also helpful for pumping up other gear like bike tires or pressurizing the roof rack mounted solar shower.
COZY CABIN
Comfort is never compromised in a Pin Drop, and el Diablo is designed with comfort in mind. This off road camper model has the same luxury foam queen sized mattress as other Pin Drop models for a great night’s sleep to refuel for the next day’s adventures. The travel trailer cabin is super insulated (R15), comfortable for all seasons and loaded with storage options and an impressive surround sound system (Rockford Fosgate) to unwind with your favorite playlist.
SOLAR POWER CAPACITY
Packed with 400 watts of solar capacity, and room to expand, el Diablo will never leave you without power. Mounted in the tongue box is a 200 amp/hour lithium battery bank which powers all charging docks, lights, fan, radio and fridge. Need to plug in a coffee grinder or air mattress pump? We’ve got you covered with a 1000 watt inverter and convenient receptacles outside in the tongue box, inside the cabin, and in the galley kitchen as well.
AWNINGS AND ENCLOSURES
Two shade awnings provide relief from the sun and the included awning room clips to either awning to create an enclosed bug-free space for dining, playing cards, or housing guests, pets or kids. Light kits installed in the awning will illuminate your evening so you can stay up longer talking about the highlights of the day.
WATER STORAGE
The el Diablo model, as with any Pin Drop model, stows up to 44 gallons of fresh water, capacity unlike other off road camper trailers on the market. This includes 12 gallons in the galley kitchen, and options for two fender racks for 6 gallon Reliance water jugs and two 10 gallon cylinder solar shower tanks mounted to the trestle-span roof racks.
